Oh my...

Becki and Ashleigh, husband- and fatherless, came over today for Taco Tuesday. This is always a fun time, because inevitably most of the neighborhood shows up just because they can. Somehow we came across the brilliant idea that Becki and I would work out together, a.k.a. do T-tapp.

This is all fine and good, I should just point out that I had already done about 35+ minutes of T-tapp earlier in the day, so I was thinking I was done for the day.

We ended up pulling out Beginner/Rehab, which is like 40, 50 minutes long.... and I nearly did the whole thing, with the exception of having to go lay Hunter down and having to answer the phone, etc. We did an awful lot of pausing/rewinding because there were seriously like five kids over, acting all crazy.

Becki didn't (verbally) tear it to pieces at any time, so she was either being very kind or genuinely thought it didn't.... ehrrr.... stink too bad.

I don't have to tell anyone that I'm sort of tired right now. I am awfully proud of Becki, though. =)

I've been MIA--who's noticed??

Try not to take it personally, all you faithful readers in blogdom... We'll just blame this on nice weather, lots of illness, and a ton of typing.

I'm off (shortly) to do a quick T-tapp workout (BWO+) since I am still struggling with coughing and blah blah blah. I took off from Thursday on, so I feel a little slackerish in this department. The good news is that I got to ride Trinity on Saturday and Fansi for a little while last night (at a walk only because it was dark and because I haven't ridden her in many moons).

Life is going okay right now, I just heaped a little sumthin' on my plate when it comes to this new doctor I'm typing for, and readjusting to typing more is not happening smoothly. I really prefer NOT to type, but we're really struggling with this living paycheck to paycheck garbage while we hold on to both houses. I suppose I can inconvenience myself for a little while and try to bring in what measly income I can. I suppose it just means a lot of 4 a.m. typing mornings, or staying up till 3 a.m. to get something done. Zzzzzzzzzzz. And then, come to find out instead of having to have eight hours of typing done somewhere between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 7 p.m. Wednesday, my newest doctor doesn't have to be turned back in until Thursday at 6 p.m. This makes life more liveable, in my opinion.

Trying to do all that while Hunter was sleeping just wasn't cuttin' it. I was making myself sick and miserable, and, for example, I spent from noon Sunday until 5:30 p.m. typing.... I missed both church services, which I would've anyway as I'm still not feeling great and Hunter's got what I've got now, but the rest of the family stayed home with me, too. It wouldn't have been that big of a deal, except I saw my pastor and his family drive up to Rich & Becki's while I was out messing with the horses. It made me feel guilty, even though I'm pretty sure no one wants me around. I hope they understand that I'm not just entirely avoiding church. I don't know why this has been a very sick winter/spring for us.

There's more to come, but if I want to get in a shower and a workout, I've got to do it now. Ciao!
