What is up with me & feet?

So I was lucky (huh?) enough to pick up some more typing... It could easily triple my current paycheck per month, but it's only a temporary thing because the doc hasn't signed a contract. Only thing is... It's another podiatrist. Ick ick. More feet. The interesting spin here is that I've ridden this guy's horse at my lesson barn before, and I've seen him walk around in green suede chaps. You've just never lived until you've seen a middle-aged Jewish guy shmutzing around the barn in chaps. I'm pretty sure this won't help us gain his contract, so don't think I'll be mentioning it next time I see him walking around in chaps. Hahahaha.

Needless to say, I spent four or five hours typing between yesterday and today. My right foot was swollen and really hurting for some reason, and it didn't help to walk around and try to throw in some of the more active T-tapp moves (which usually alleviate my swelling). It was strange. The day was strange, too, because Hunter didn't sleep much last night, which meant neither of us got very good sleep. I'm glad Hunter seems to be doing better--hopefully he will get the sleep he (and WE) desperately needs tonight.

I took two days off from exercising after the clinic. I was really sore up until today, so I figured it would be okay to start back. I ended up doing the Beginner/Rehab. I'd like to say that I remembered everything I learned at the clinic, but that'd be a lie. I did sweat. A lot. So I must've been going to my max, anyway.

Did anyone see Carrie Underwood's performance on American Idol?? She sang "Alone" by Heart. Not a song for the weak.... but... WOW. I haven't ever voted before, but I really think I need to. It was awesome.

Ask John, I picked her as my favorite from the moment I first heard her when there were like a hundred or so people still in it. I like that she looks updated but not sleazy in any way. I haven't seen her belly or cleavage yet. And her clothes are pretty loose and flattering. She looks like someone I wouldn't mind my kids seeing, plus she usually sings with a hint of country which is my style. Watch, next week she'll look completely different. I love her. I haven't voted either but Mitchell and Marissa think I do.

I was in awe by Nadia's mohawk. That was gutsy! Don't think it worked out for her, but it was brave!
