I'm official... and reminiscing.

So I got an e-mail from DONA saying that I'm a certified birth doula as of 11/9/10. Last I checked, I wasn't on the directory yet, and the way everything else has gone, I don't expect it to happen immediately. I am relieved, and now I can get on with it. I should've been using my wait time to put together handouts and whatnot, but I've had a really hard time wrapping my mind around that.

Have had the New Moon soundtrack on repeat for a few days. When I come in and out of my room I get to enjoy the music. It never gets old, and it still stirs up many of the same feelings it did when the movie first came out about a year ago. Part of me hopes that never changes, that I will remember and that I will always find a strange sort of solace in this music and that movie. I'm sure, as with all things, it will fade in my memory..... but I am not looking forward to it. I know it's weird, my connection to this movie, but I can't explain it. The timing of its release was impeccable, and had I seen it just days earlier, I don't know that it would have meant that much to me. Don't judge me.

How things have changed in this year! All I can say is that I have learned so much about so many things. I feel like I have had no choice but to become well-weathered. And my once-rigid views on so many things have had to bend and readjust.... It has been a wild social experiment, to say the least.

Okay, the song that plays when the credits are rolling just came on, and I'm taking it as a celestial hint. Until next time....

Wow, it does not seem like a year ago that we were the only 2 people sitting in the theater watching New Moon. Fun night!
Congrats on getting your certification! That's exciting! I have something big looming before me too....very tentatively considering a partnership up here.

I know. I would like to relive that night a few times now that I am not so emotionally wrapped up in other things. So hilarious.

Well, I know that's a big decision for you. I'm sending out a few prayers that you will know without a doubt what decision God wants you to make.

Thanks, Jen. The other day I was thinking about it a lot. My stomach started to feel like it was in knots, I was nauseated, and just felt sick to my stomach. I figured that was a clear sign I just couldn't do a partnership again. That night my period started. So what I thought was Gods sign was really PMS. hahaha.

Btw, how is the doula and arbonne biz going?
