It's official. We're in. We even had the inaugural dinner with Melinda, John, and Mt. St. Emma to kick things off. Boxes are abundant, puppies are NOT COOL with the basement, and I still don't understand my light switches, but it's good to be here.
I will miss the sounds I have become very used to in the last five years (the gurgling/barking of the CHF beagle next door, the thug cars passing the corner, etc.), but it is nice to finally be here.
And John got my high-speed going, God love 'em. Which means, a mini-shopping spree at the coolest music site ever.
And what, pray tell, did I download first??? Why, only the Best of Billy Joel! I'm serious. And also JoJo, and Steriogram ("Walkie Talkie Man"). I ran out of $$, otherwise I would have downloaded more. I can't complain, though, there were like 30 of those Billy Joel songs.
By the way (and this won't mean a thing to anyone else), John & Melinda, I was right about that song for which I was trying to figure out the artist. It was Gwen Stefani. Color me disappointed.

So what is the title?
It's called "What Are You Waiting For?" It was actually a pretty cool song, but I didn't appreciate the "stupid ho" line... =P
