I have joined the 21st century!

Not only do I have a new computer (although not at the new house, as we're still afraid it will grow feet and walk away), but I am now officially a high-speed Internet customer. It's true! I am sitting in my new basement writing this, as we are still working out the wiring snafu that is keeping me from connecting anywhere else. If you don't believe me, just come to our basement. I'm sitting on a green Rubbermaid bin. And while you're at it, bring me a Pepsi. Heh.

I voted today, and even though I've voted before, I still got messed up once in the booth. I voted straight party AND I selected who I wanted for President/Vice President. Do you think this matters or cancels out my vote? I really hope it doesn't void something, because that'd make me crazy, seeing how I waited in line TWICE. Yes, I'm smart, but I totally blanked out when it came down to it.

Will Billy be working on it tonight? Maybe I will take a look at it if you are there today. It sounds like you may have a severed cable in the wall.

That's what he initially thought, too, but I don't know if he's ruled that out yet or not. He was testing it last night, but I don't know how it went since I took Hunter up to mom's.

We'll be out alllllll weekend (maybe even moved in!), so I'm sure he'll be bothering you sooner or later. I am bummed that it's not working anywhere but in the basement. =(
