Where is it?

Okay, my tracking number for the oopsie XM radio says the status is "Exception." They say (and I quote) "ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS CAUSED THIS DELAY." It's in Louisville, KY as we speak.

My beef with this is that I paid for overnight shipping when I placed the order on the 21st to ensure that it made it here by Christmas.... an extra $14 or something crazy like that. And now it's just sitting in some airport somewhere. I don't need it for Christmas anymore, but I still paid for expedited shipping.

Why would it be delayed due to weather? The weather's fine here today. Am I being given a slip because shipping companies are overwhelmed?

C'mon, somebody feed my conspiracy theory.

I would give you conspiracy, but the deal is really with the storm aftereffects in KY and S. IN. They are just now opening I-64 through Louisville and Evanston after closing it for over 24 hours. There were 100 cars stranded and they needed the Nat'l Guard to get them out.

CNN story about traffic/shipping companiesSorry, no "Tin Foil Hat" story to share w/ you. Maybe Santa can stop by and pick it up on the way... ;)

Well, then. That's better. If it's due to weather, there's nothing anyone can do about it. I won't snivel if this is legit. =)

Speaking of tin hats.... Have you seen those tinfoil hats for cats that people sell on eBay? Those kill me.
