Zzzzzzzzzzz....

This is gonna be short because I'm lacking time AND energy, but...

Day 2 of jury duty is under my belt. Judge says testimony should be done Friday, which means???? What? Monday? Tuesday? I actually sat on the floor today, my backside was so tired of sitting in those chairs in the juror box.

I got home about 6:30 tonight because I had to run some errands after I left the courthouse. One of these was shoe shopping. I walked in and immediately recognized her from jury duty. She was one of three people left who didn't get picked for this case. I now affectionately think of her as "the one that got away." She works at Payless, apparently. I said hello, and she started saying she was glad she wasn't picked because of a particular question the prosecutor was asking potential jurors. I mentally plugged my ears and sang (inaudibly, of course) "lalalalalala!" because, of course, she can talk about the case but I can't.... and I can't listen, either. Oh well.

I got to go to lunch with Alicia's mom, and that was fun. I always enjoy talking about my friends behind their backs--especially with their parents. Hehehehehehe.

T-tapp today was the Beginner/Rehab workout followed by day 10 of the Torso Trimmers and pre-shower brushing. I am happy the Torso Trimmers are done because it means that tomorrow I can be really lazy until it is my time to go back into court at 1:30 p.m.

I am still clueless about babysitting. Everyone we've called is either sick, busy, or won't call back. Billy took the day off today, but I don't think he can swing possibly four more days of the same. Lucky, lucky me!!
