I am a little depressed at the state of our finances. It's a never-ending struggle to stay caught up, and, frankly, on any given day we are usually running several days behind with payments. Of course it doesn't help that a good 80% of our bills are due the first week of the month, which is totally and utterly ridiculous.... yet I've not had the mental energy to call and see if due dates can be moved. Must get on that.
When I am paying bills, like today, I get really down. And that is when the shopping bug gene hits. I must thank my mom for this one and for the emotional eating gene. It makes nothing better, and only makes it worse, yet I haven't found a way to make it go away.
It's the worst.
