I missed the delivery of the computer! It wasn't supposed to come today (I thought). And I'll probably miss it tomorrow, too, because the farrier's going to be out at the same time UPS has scheduled the 2nd delivery attempt. C'MON, PEOPLE!
On a house-related note, the plumbers were out today (and not a butt-crack to be found, shocker!) and I've got my sinks and faucets in... Yes, the much-debated BISCUIT sinks and.... gasp! The faucets with a special finish for the master bath! (It's funny how she never yelled at me about it again after that day) The plumbers were still there when I left at 4 p.m., so perhaps they'll keep going because they're enjoying themselves so much. A girl can dream, can't she?
I spent the day with my mom and Gordy.... Not intentionally, really. I just ended up there because I needed to measure windows for blinds, and Gordy was looking for a karaoke partner. I'd like to say we turned that mutha out, but instead I think we just ended up mortally wounding a couple songs that previously were enjoyed by most. Note to self: Love Shack is not quite as entertaining when there's only one person singing it, and there's no audience.
....and then there were 5.

But no Jacuzzi tub????
Just a thought...You can call UPS and have them hold the shipment at their center and then pick it up. It usually takes 24 hours though, so you may be around the house to take delivery tomorrow. BTW, I am looking forwarding to pimping you PC!

The tub is in the garage (or was when I left yesterday). Hopefully it is in. I'm a little disappointed because it looks very small just laying on the ground upside-down. Hopefully it looks bigger when actually installed. Otherwise I will enjoy eating my knees every time I decide to sit in the 'cuzzi. ('Cuzzi is a fun word, but anyway!)
John, yes, I saw where you could pick it up, but I'd rather not. I remember when I bought my first Gateway I had to pick it up at UPS. It was in two HUGE, heavy boxes, and it barely fit in the back of my Honda. I had a mutha of a time getting it to the car, too. I'll take my chances on having to get it tomorrow for the off-chance they might actually get it to me today, and that I don't have to load and unload it again. They said it'll be in one box (sans free printer), so it wouldn't be horrendous if I had to go pick it up, but still...
I'm looking forward to pimpin' muh PC, too. If only I had high-speed Internet already. I'll be able to play around with it, just not surf the web.
Billy just asked me where I'm going to put it. That's an excellent question.
