Today we got Logan's computer up and running. Here he is posing with his surprised face while he works on some addition/subtraction problems. I told him I would hook up the computer (in other words, find the cords in the boxes in the garage) if he would play some educational programs every day.

Hey Courtney!
Thanks! Logan is cute, though he's looking scraggly in the picture (needs a haircut and a bath, so what else is new?). He was really excited to get "his" computer back. It's been dismantled for about four or five months now.
We've got three horses right now--a 19 y/o Arab gelding, a 13 y/o Arab mare, and a (I think?) 9 y/o TB/Oldenburg/Appy mare. All three are mine--no one else in the family rides except for maybe my teenaged niece and nephew, who hop on my gelding every few weeks during the summer. All of them are big pains, too, but in different aspects. =) My 9 y/o mare is my newest horse, who I just bought about five months before finding out I was pregnant with my 11-month-old son... she was barely backed when I bought her, but she has come a long way in the time I've been able to spend with her (lately, not much). I'd like to get to some shows this year, but I'm not holding my breath!
I'd love a pony for the kids, but my oldest son hasn't ridden since my gelding forgot he was on his back and decided to lay down for a second. My son stayed on (I was amazed), but I dropped the lead rope right away and grabbed him before my guy could roll--which he didn't. It was weird! Hope my younger son has more of the bug than Logan does!
Anyway, thanks for stopping by!
